WebCull is a web-based bookmark manager, with browser extensions on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Opera, and more. Designed to provide a secure, privacy-focused solution for organizing and accessing web links, WebCull aims to address privacy concerns associated with traditional bookmark management tools by offering end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and an ad-free user experience. The service is compatible across various browsers and devices, ensuring seamless synchronization for its users.
It is very well built with simplicity in mind. There are several themes and all of them look amazing. I love the "typewriter" and "focus" mode. In contrast with other apps that focus the current window and remove all visibility options, Typora goes one step ahead and fades down all other paragraphs as well.
Based on our record, Typora seems to be a lot more popular than WebCull. While we know about 84 links to Typora, we've tracked only 6 mentions of WebCull. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

I have been scouring the internet for private bookmark managers that have an extension for FF, and found a couple of potential contenders: WebCull and Trove. WebCull seems pretty private but I cannot figure out how to get the extension to work. Trove looks great but doesn't have a privacy policy, so I'm not sure how trustworthy they are. The URL to use this feature for free is https://webcull.com/. Double click on any folder that you create and click the share icon to access the ability to share a folder. It took an intense amount of work to get it to this point. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Source: about 3 years ago

If Lexeme is similar to Typora (https://typora.io), it could be fantastic and might even surpass Typora in terms of quality. On the other hand, if Typora already has these features, it's quite powerful. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago

Evernote was ok for a little bit, but the only thing it really did for me was search... Once I realized that I switched tactics. I organized my life into domains, and got okay at using grep to replace it. My saving grace that I would pay twice for is https://typora.io. Though worth mentioning Apple Notes has come a long way. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
Typora https://typora.io/ Open source — https://hackmd.io/ I’ve used all three, the first two are are WYSIWYG. All are collaborative. HackMD has a nice two window editor that renders MD as you type. Curious how Vrite compares with these. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
