Any free and private bookmark managers?

  1. WebCull is an ad-free, privacy-focused bookmark manager that works from any browser or device.
I have been scouring the internet for private bookmark managers that have an extension for FF, and found a couple of potential contenders: WebCull and Trove. WebCull seems pretty private but I cannot figure out how to get the extension to work. Trove looks great but doesn't have a privacy policy, so I'm not sure how trustworthy they are.

When you find something you want to view later, put it in Pocket.
I have managed to replace most of my online services with private ones except for Pocket. I just use it for saving links in Firefox, I do not need the reading app functionality. I would go with Memex, but it seems like it will be going into paid mode later this year, and I unfortunately can't afford to pay for anything right now. Nextcloud and self-hosted managers are not an option for me.

The link you attached has raindrop.io as the first suggestion, but I've seen a lot of people recommending against it in this sub, and the privacy policy seems very suspicious. I am very interested in Memex but I really cannot pay for anything at the moment, so I am hesitant to switch to that when it might become paid-only in the next few months.
