What really stuck with me is the idea of distinguishing between the free floating space (360ยฐ to place your windows), and the "Deck" to the bottom with distinct slots to put windows into. The best you're going to see, until something is actually announced from a major player, is really just concept projects. Like VR-OS or Infinity Cube.
