Walls.io
HourStackWalls.io's answer
Walls.io is a flexible, enterprise-ready social wall platform that helps brands collect, moderate, and display social media content and direct user submissions in real timeโacross websites, events, apps, intranets, and digital signage.
What truly sets Walls.io apart is its combination of ease of use, deep moderation control, and privacy-first design. With features like Direct Posts (no social account required), GDPR-friendly moderation workflows, and broad integrations (event platforms, CMSs, digital signage tools), Walls.io works just as well for public campaigns as it does for internal communications and regulated industries.

Advanced moderation and approval flows, ideal for large screens, internal comms, and conservative industries
True omnichannel flexibility: one wall can live on a website, at a live event, inside an app, and on office screens
Strong compliance posture, supporting GDPR-conscious brands and global organizations
In short, Walls.io isnโt just about displaying social media, itโs about owning and controlling the experience while still feeling live and authentic.

Walls.io's answer
Walls.io was founded in Austria with the goal of making social media content usable beyond native platforms, especially at events and on owned channels.
Early on, the team recognized a gap: brands wanted the energy of social media, but not the chaos, data risks, or platform dependency. Walls.io evolved into a robust platform that balances real-time engagement with moderation, flexibility, and ownership. It has since grown into a global solution used by enterprises, NGOs, universities, and major brands worldwide.
Walls.io's answer
At a high level, Walls.io is built on a modern SaaS architecture that includes:
Cloud-based infrastructure for scalability and global performance
API-driven integrations with major social networks, CMSs, event platforms, and signage tools
Real-time content ingestion and rendering technologies

We lately used it at a job fair and it was a huge draw. We also use it on an ongoing basis to show our social media presence quickly without having to pull up the individual platforms. All in all, I found it the quickest way to present what I wanted to a variety of audiences. It's a great social media engagement tool.
I like that we can curate content using both a hashtag and a social feed. Being able to combine content from more than one place keeps content fresh, and use of a hashtag makes posting easy for end-users.

Awesome thing! We're adding Mastodon support to https://walls.io/ next week - will allow you to track hashtags and create a Mastodon social wall content feed to embed as widget on your website or run on a screen/display! Source: over 3 years ago
This is a solid take on task management. We've got some similar features in https://hourstack.com with dragging and dropping tasks from other platforms into a calendar (team or personal). However, our focus is on tracking time against those tasks once scheduled and then reporting, invoicing, etc. Against the work completed. So different end goals. Best of luck to you as it looks like you've got a great start. - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
I would take a look at Plan (free), Hourstack (paid) or Sunsama (paid). Source: over 4 years ago
The team and I are building HourStack - https://hourstack.com. We are focused on scheduling and tracking time at the task level, which works well with billable hours. We also integrate with task, event, and issue platforms so you can drag existing tasks onto your calendar to schedule and track time against them. This can be quite nice when working with clients across different platforms like Asana, Trello, and... - Source: Hacker News / almost 5 years ago
Calendars - newdaynew.me or hourstack.com- calendar tracking is useful, but does make things rigid and remove some flexibility or freedom to how you spend you day - like putting in your calendar 3 hours of X when you may not be in the best mood to do that. Source: about 5 years ago
