We had a great experience using Monday.com. From task and project management to managing resources, this powerful tool is packed with many flexible features. The clean user interface saves us from hosh posh, allowing us to track teams, share files, and collaborate effectively. It's good for small businesses, but can be difficult to track for larger teams.
It's a great tool for planning tasks conveniently. It's pretty straightforward to use, which is a big plus. You can tweak it to fit your own way of doing things, which is handy.

WakaTime integrates with editors and essentially records the current file plus some meta-information like git project, language, editor, etc. It's a proprietary centralized service (although there's a FOSS implementation that became viable about a year ago), so all its data is available for export, which I believe is due to GDPR. Some tools that I would use to stay organized include Jira, monday.com, Notion, or Trello. Each has its own advantages. Personally, I use monday dev. It lets you keep track of all your projects and tasks in one place and collaborate with your team in real time. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
With the newer, online work management tools that have project management features (ClickUp, Monday.com, etc.), several have free versions and you have the ability to create a custom field that you can use for the assignee, ignoring the built-in field that requires a licensed user or guest.
