Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing VS Code and goVeliro.

What makes your product unique?

goVeliro's answer:

goVeliro Studio Subtitler is unique because it brings professional-grade AI transcription entirely offline. While most competitors require cloud uploads and monthly subscriptions, goVeliro runs OpenAI Whisper technology locally on your Windows hardware. This ensures 100% data privacy, zero upload wait times, and a transparent one-time payment model.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

goVeliro's answer:

Users choose goVeliro to escape "SaaS fatigue" and cloud limitations. It is the ideal choice for those who handle sensitive footage or high volumes of video. With our unlimited batch processing and local AI engine, you can subtitle hours of content without worrying about per-minute fees, internet bandwidth, or data leaks

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

goVeliro's answer:

Our primary audience includes professional video podcasters, high-volume YouTube creators, marketing agencies, and freelance editors. We also serve privacy-conscious organizations (legal, medical, corporate) that need accurate AI transcription but are prohibited from uploading confidential recordings to third-party cloud servers.

What's the story behind your product?

goVeliro's answer:

goVeliro was born out of frustration with the current state of AI video tools. As a creator, I was tired of waiting for large files to upload to cloud services and paying recurring monthly fees for a tool I used every day. I built goVeliro to give creators back control over their data and their budget by moving the AI power from the cloud to the desktop.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

goVeliro's answer:

goVeliro Studio Subtitler is built on a high-performance Windows-native architecture. It leverages the OpenAI Whisper large-v3 models for speech recognition and utilizes both CPU and GPU acceleration (CUDA) to ensure lightning-fast local processing without an active internet connection.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

goVeliro's answer:

  • Independent Podcast Networks
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media Agencies
  • Online Course Educators and E-learning Platforms
  • Investigative Journalists and Documentary Filmmakers
  • Corporate Communications Departments
