Recto started from a frustration every content site hits: you publish hundreds of posts, then watch half of them get buried because nothing links to them. Google barely crawls these "orphan" pages, so the content you paid to create never ranks. The existing fixes were either a $100/yr-and-up plugin or a manual grind in a crawler and a spreadsheet.
