Here's a markdown-formatted description for the 2000 character limit:
VidShift is a free online video and audio toolkit that processes everything locally in your browser. Unlike traditional online converters that upload your files to remote servers, VidShift uses WebAssembly and WebCodecs to handle all processing on your device. Your files never leave your computer.
VidShift is built on Mediabunny, a WebAssembly library for browser-based media processing. It is hosted as a static site on Cloudflare Pages with zero backend infrastructure.

PythonAnywherePythonAnywhere is especially recommended for Python developers (beginners and intermediates), educators, students, and hobbyists who are looking for an easy and quick way to deploy and host their Python applications or who need an online python environment for coding practice.

VidShift.io's answer
VidShift processes all video and audio files entirely in the browser using WebAssembly. Unlike most online converters, nothing is ever uploaded to a server. Your files stay on your device at all times, making it the most private way to convert video online. It also works offline after your first visit.
VidShift.io's answer
Most online video converters upload your files to remote servers, which is slow, raises privacy concerns, and often results in watermarked output or paywalls. VidShift runs locally in your browser, so conversions are faster, completely private, and always free. There are no watermarks, no sign-ups, no file size limits, and no hidden fees.
VidShift.io's answer
Anyone who needs to convert, compress, or edit video files quickly without installing software or uploading to a server. This includes content creators, students, educators, marketers, developers, and privacy-conscious users who want a fast, free tool that respects their data.
VidShift.io's answer
VidShift was born out of frustration with existing online video converters. Every tool I tried either uploaded files to unknown servers, slapped watermarks on the output, or required a subscription for basic features. With modern browser technology like WebAssembly and WebCodecs, there was no reason video conversion still needed a server. So I built VidShift to prove it could all run locally, for free.
VidShift.io's answer
VidShift is built on Mediabunny, a WebAssembly library that uses WebCodecs for browser-based media processing. The site itself is a static HTML application hosted on Cloudflare Pages with no backend servers. A service worker handles offline caching.

The website is already built. Each comment will have a reddit post URL, and the bot should leave a comment on that URL. We can use pythonanywhere.com for this to make it easiest. Source: about 3 years ago
If you are learning, use pythonanywhere.com as they specialize in python, and make setup easy. Only $5 a month. Start with a barebones flask app, get it to run, then follow a tutorial. Actually better to build the app locally, easier to test with IDE like Pycharm. Then upload to the net. Source: about 3 years ago
Hello, I have a Minecraft server running on a Rpi with Paper. It works great and I use it to play with some of my friends. However, the server's public IP address often changes, meaning that I have to give my friends the new IP address daily. Being a programmer, I feel this could be automated. I don't want to buy a domain, so I want to try and setup a system where the server sends Its IP to my PythonAnywhere... Source: over 3 years ago
Hosting wise, I would reccomend pythonanywhere.com, combined with either https://imagekit.io or https://cloudinary.com. Source: over 3 years ago
So what is the best alternative? I have one Plotly Dash app on pythonanywhere.com where I spend 6 bucks a month so I don't want to spend anymore than 5 dollars per month on the PHP + MySQL. Source: over 3 years ago
