Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Next.js and React with TypeScript on the web, React Native (Expo) for the mobile apps, Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data and authentication, deployed on Vercel.

What makes your product unique?

Two things, and it's the combination that's unusual.

First, it is built for the Spanish working-hours record (Royal Decree-Law 8/2019) from the ground up, not adapted from a generic time tracker. Clock-ins are immutable, corrections are traceable, and the log holds up to a labour inspection.

Second, the AI assistant understands that same regulation. When someone calls in sick it reorganises coverage across the team, and it checks its own proposal against Spanish labour law: the mandatory 12 hours of rest between shifts, weekly rest, and each person's contracted hours. It suggests, the manager decides.

International tools have the scheduling but not the Spanish compliance. Local tools have the compliance but not the AI.

Most Spanish alternatives charge per employee per month, so the bill grows with the team. TurnoMade charges a flat rate: the same price for 6 people as for 25, in each of up to 3 organisations.

Reports for the accountant — PDF, Excel and CSV — are included in every plan, the free one included, instead of being reserved for paid tiers.

And there is no GPS tracking: clock-ins are verified by network IP, which avoids the privacy problems that come with locating employees.

Small businesses in Spain with shift-based teams: bars and restaurants, clinics, retail, service companies and sports clubs. Typically 5 to 25 people per site, where the manager builds the schedule personally and needs the working-hours record to be legally valid without hiring an HR department.

What's the story behind your product?

TurnoMade.app's answer

Since 2019, every company in Spain has been legally required to keep a daily record of its employees' working hours. The tools available either charge per employee, which makes them expensive for a team of eight, or treat the legal record as an afterthought bolted onto a scheduling app.

TurnoMade was built the other way around: the record comes first, and the scheduling sits on top of it.
