Messiah is a browser extension that protects your Web3 assets by detecting threats in real time โ€” before you sign anything.

Site Scan โ€” Run a scan before connecting your wallet. Messiah extracts the page structure, visible text, and external resources, then runs an AI analysis to detect:

  • Phishing pages that impersonate trusted wallets, exchanges, or protocols
  • Seed phrase collection forms โ€” the clearest sign of a crypto theft attempt
  • Fake login pages, fake stores, and investment fraud
  • Supply-chain attacks and transaction-hijacking scripts (e.g., Bybit-style front-end injection)

Sign Analyze โ€” Every signing request from a dApp is automatically intercepted and reviewed before it reaches your wallet:

  • Asset Simulation โ€” see exactly what will be sent, received, or approved before you sign
  • AI Explanation โ€” a plain-language breakdown of what the request does and why it may be risky
  • Fusion Analysis โ€” cross-checks what a site claims to do against what you're actually signing, catching "Claim Airdrop" pages that really request unlimited token approvals

Address Check โ€” Before sending funds to an unknown address, cross-reference it against Etherscan, GoPlus, Chainabuse, and Revoke.cash in one click.

We benchmarked Messiah against live scam sites actively reported on ScamSniffer's threat feed, achieving a 90% detection rate โ€” and we published the gaps we found, so you know exactly what it catches.

Built by OneSavie Lab โ€” winner of the HashKey Chain Award at ETHGlobal Taipei 2025, selected for Cyberport's Web3 Pilot Scheme, and born from a proof-of-concept recreating the $1.5B Bybit front-end attack.

Available in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing TranscriptGenerator.org and Messiah.

What makes your product unique?

Messiah's answer:

Messiah protects the exact moment a user gets deceived. Beyond domain blocklists, it:

  • Intercepts every wallet signing request before it reaches your wallet
  • Runs Fusion Analysis โ€” cross-checking what a site claims to do against what you're actually signing, catching "Claim Airdrop" pages that really request unlimited token approvals
  • Detects EIP-7702 malicious delegations, an emerging attack vector most scanners misclassify as safe

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Messiah's answer:

Most tools rely on blocklists or transaction simulation alone. Messiah combines both with AI content analysis:

  • Site Scan โ€” analyses the page before you connect
  • Sign Analyze โ€” simulates asset changes and explains the risk in plain language, in five languages
  • Address Check โ€” cross-references Etherscan, GoPlus, Chainabuse and Revoke.cash

We benchmarked it against 100 live scam sites (90% detection) and published the gaps we found โ€” so you know exactly what it catches and what it doesn't.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Messiah's answer:

  • Crypto users who interact with dApps โ€” DeFi traders, NFT collectors, and first-time wallet users
  • Institutions (exchanges, banks entering Web3) needing on-premise front-end phishing protection for their customers

What's the story behind your product?

Messiah's answer:

Messiah was born from the $1.5B Bybit hack โ€” the largest crypto theft in history, executed through a compromised front-end that made signers approve something they couldn't see.

At ETHGlobal Taipei 2025, our team built a proof-of-concept recreating that exact attack: a simulated wallet front-end with injected malicious logic, and an AI pipeline that analysed the front-end JavaScript to catch it. The project won the HashKey Chain Award (On-Chain Infrastructure Compliance Innovation) and the Celo L2 Pool Prize.

We then joined Cyberport's Web3 Pilot Scheme and spent months turning the PoC into a real product โ€” benchmarking it against 100 live scam sites and publishing what it caught and what it missed โ€” before launching on the Chrome Web Store.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Messiah's answer:

  • Extension โ€” TypeScript + React, built with Vite (CRXJS), Manifest V3
  • Backend โ€” Node.js + Express (TypeScript), PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM, Zod validation
  • AI โ€” GPT-class LLM via a model-agnostic LiteLLM proxy (per-scan-type model routing)
  • Simulation โ€” Alchemy transaction simulation (asset-change preview before signing)
  • Threat intelligence โ€” MetaMask eth-phishing-detect, GoPlus, Chainabuse, Etherscan, Revoke.cash, VirusTotal

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Messiah's answer:

  • Individual Web3 users via the Chrome Web Store (recently launched)
  • Early-access security researchers and DeFi power users
