A to Z Project
TimeYourWeb is a browser time tracker that helps you understand where your time goes while working online.
It automatically tracks time spent on websites and individual pages and separates active time from total focused-browser time, so a tab left open is not automatically treated as continuous active work.
Key features:
TimeYourWeb is useful for freelancers, remote professionals, virtual assistants, developers, marketers, founders, and small teams whose work happens primarily in the browser.
Privacy-focused: TimeYourWeb does not record screenshots, keystrokes, passwords, private messages, or webpage body content. It is designed for transparent productivity analysis rather than hidden employee monitoring.
Many features are available for free, including browser activity reports and CSV export.

TimeYourWeb's answer
TimeYourWeb focuses specifically on understanding work and activity that happens in the browser. It combines website and page-level tracking, active vs total time, chronological timelines, multi-day analysis, and custom rule-based categories. This makes it possible to see not only how much time was spent, but when it was spent and what that activity represented, such as a client, project, or type of work.
TimeYourWeb's answer
Choose TimeYourWeb if most of your work happens in the browser and you want detailed automatic time visibility without manually starting and stopping timers. It tracks websites and individual pages, distinguishes active interaction from total focused-browser time, shows activity chronologically, supports custom categorization, exports data to CSV, and can synchronize activity across browsers and computers. It does this without screenshots or keystroke recording.
TimeYourWeb's answer
TimeYourWeb is designed for people whose work happens primarily in the browser, including freelancers, virtual assistants, remote professionals, developers, marketers, founders, consultants, and small teams. It is particularly useful for people working across multiple clients, projects, websites, browser profiles, or computers.
TimeYourWeb's answer
TimeYourWeb started from a simple problem: a large part of modern work happens in the browser, but at the end of the day it can be surprisingly difficult to reconstruct where that time actually went. TimeYourWeb was built to make browser activity understandable through detailed time statistics, page-level data, chronological timelines, and, more recently, custom categorization that turns raw browsing activity into meaningful work.
