Timefully is a distraction-free meditation timer for people who already know how they want to practise. There are no guided courses, no social feed and no ads โ just a calm, precise tool for the practice you bring, whether that is mindfulness, zen, vipassana, mantra or breathwork.
Sessions are fully yours to shape: a warm-up, a main block with interval bells, and a cool-down, each with its own length and sound. Choose from dozens of real bell sounds โ Tibetan bells, singing bowls, gongs, wind chimes โ or sit in silence with haptics. On iPhone, you can even bring your own music in as ambient sound via Apple Music or Spotify.
The tracking runs as deep as the timer is simple: session statistics, streaks, mood notes, achievements, and a virtual tree that grows with every sit. Private by default โ no account required, and your practice data stays yours.
Timefully is on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, and on Android with Health Connect (sessions land as Mindfulness minutes). A free online timer runs in any browser at timefully.co.
Trusted by 40,000+ meditators, rated 4.8 stars across 2,000+ reviews, and built in Sweden. The timer is always free โ no account, ads or trial limits; Timefully Pro (a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase) unlocks deeper statistics and insights, tree growth, achievements and streaks, mood tracking, premium bells and more.

Timefully's answer
Timefully is built for people who already know how they want to practise. Most meditation apps lead with guided content โ courses, libraries, voices. Timefully deliberately has none of that: no courses, no social feed, no ads. It pairs a precise, distraction-free timer (segmented sessions, real bells) with unusually deep tracking โ statistics, streaks, mood notes, and a virtual tree that grows with every sit โ and it is private by default: no account required.
Timefully's answer
Choose by the job you need done. If you want guided meditations and courses, apps like Calm, Headspace or Insight Timer serve that well. Choose Timefully if you bring your own practice โ Vipassana, Zen, mindfulness, mantra, breathwork โ and want a timer that stays out of the way: precise session control with warm-up, intervals and cool-down, dozens of real bell sounds, deep private statistics, and no account. Against other minimal timers, the difference is the depth behind the simplicity: tracking, mood notes, achievements and the growing tree, kept quiet until you want them.
Timefully's answer
Self-directed meditators with an established routine โ people practising Vipassana, Zen, mindfulness, mantra or breathwork who want a precise, calm tool rather than content. Many have used guided apps, learned what works for them, and now sit on their own terms. Timefully is trusted by 40,000+ meditators worldwide.
Timefully's answer
Timefully is built in Sweden around one conviction: a meditation practice deserves a calm space, not a noisy, gamified app. So it grew in the opposite direction of the market โ no guided library, no feed, no engagement tricks; just a precise timer with real bells and honest tracking, private by default. It has been refined over years with the practitioners who use it daily โ 40,000+ meditators, rating it 4.8 stars across 2,000+ reviews.

Native on every platform, with no cross-platform wrapper: the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch apps are built with Apple's native frameworks (Swift), the Android app is native Kotlin with Health Connect integration, and the free online timer at timefully.co is a Next.js web app.

Meditation. try the calm app or calm.com for sleep stories or sleep body scans. Source: about 3 years ago
If I purchase the Calm membership through the app store, will the rebate still post? I saw in the details it specified "calm.com." Does anyone know for sure? Source: almost 4 years ago
I found Waking Up to require more effort than calm.com (or headspace). The latter apps tend to focus on simple things: e.g. Focus on your breathing whereas Waking Up is actually much more about challenging your beliefs of what it even means to exist. Source: almost 4 years ago
Also for now I am selling Calm.com 1 Year Family Account for $7. Source: about 4 years ago
I don't do full yoga but trying out calm.com and just some mind clearing meditation daily is great for unclenching the upper stomach muscles around the diaphragm that you don't realize clench from day-to-day stress. I remember wanting to try it when I was younger because I've always had an issue with holding onto anger and frustration but was told the whole "emptying your mind lets Satan in" business.
