• How do you get nautilus to show the thumbnails? I'm on a chromebook using crostini. Debian bullseye (i'm sorry if that's irrelevant i am a linux noob)

  I switched to Thunar because of this issue. It has very fast preview image loading, among other benefits. It seems well-integrated into Gnome, even though it is built primarily from the XFCE project. Source: over 4 years ago
