TextCompareo runs 100% inside your browser — your files are never uploaded to any server. Most comparison tools send your data to the cloud, but TextCompareo does all the parsing and diffing locally, so even sensitive documents stay completely private.

It's also multi-format in one place — compare not just plain text, but PDFs, Word docs, Excel sheets, CSV, HTML pages, and even entire folders. Its parser is framework-aware, so it can pull readable text out of modern JavaScript-heavy pages (Next.js, React, Nuxt.js) that other tools leave empty.

TextCompareo started from a simple frustration: most online compare tools force you to upload your files to their servers — a real problem when those files contain contracts, private drafts, or confidential data.

We built TextCompareo to do the opposite: run everything in the browser, so your data never leaves your device. From there it grew into a full suite that compares text, documents, spreadsheets, and folders — fast, free, and private by default.
