Text is an AI customer service platform built for businesses that want their support operation to generate revenue, not just reduce ticket volume. Most platforms treat support conversations as a cost to minimize. Text treats them as a sales channel โ€” because buying signals may be hiding in ordinary support chats, and the right infrastructure can act on them before the moment passes.

AI agent Resolves orders, returns, and FAQs end to end across multiple languages, with a 74% resolution rate โ€” so your team handles only the conversations that need a human.

Live chat Spots hesitation in real time and starts the right conversation before visitors leave โ€” so browsers become buyers without your team lifting a finger.

Custom skills Custom Skills let anyone on the team define exactly what the AI does and when: qualify leads, issue discounts, route VIPs, book appointments in plain language, with no code required.

Lead capture Qualifies visitors and collects contact details after hours โ€” so your team opens the day with warm leads, not a cold inbox.

Omnichannel inbox Chat, email, Messenger, SMS, and WhatsApp in one workspace with full conversation history โ€” so every agent has the full picture before they type a word.

Workflows Connects Text to HubSpot, Shopify, Slack, and more โ€” so routing, tagging, and follow-ups run without anyone managing them.

Product recommendations Surfaces relevant products from catalog data inside the chat โ€” so every support conversation becomes a sales opportunity.

Reports Tracks chat volume, CSAT, AI resolution rates, and team performance in one place โ€” so you know exactly what's driving revenue and what's just closing tickets.

Copilot Surfaces reply suggestions and customer history on demand during live conversations โ€” so every response is accurate, fast, and consistent.

Connects to HubSpot, Shopify, WooCommerce, Slack, Mailchimp, Webflow, WordPress, and more โ€” no code required.

Every update you don't communicate is a feature your users will never find.

Your team ships improvements every week โ€” bug fixes, new features, performance gains. But if your users don't hear about them, those updates might as well not exist. Features go undiscovered. Support tickets pile up for problems you already fixed. Users churn thinking the product hasn't changed.

ReleasePad fixes that.

It connects to your GitHub repo and uses AI to read every change you ship โ€” and turns them into clear, human-friendly release notes. No templates. No writing. No process to adopt. You ship code, ReleasePad tells the story.

Review, tweak if you want, and publish everywhere at once:

  • A hosted changelog page your users can bookmark.
  • An in-app widget so they see what's new inside your product.

It works with messy repos, inconsistent commit messages, and the kind of chaotic history that real teams actually have. No strict formats required.

Whether you're a solo founder shipping with AI coding tools or a product team releasing multiple times a week, ReleasePad is the fastest path from "we shipped it" to "our users know about it.

Minutes, not hours. Automatic, not manual. Every update, every channel.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Text.com and ReleasePad.

What makes your product unique?

Text.com's answer

Text App is the first AI-native customer service platform that unifies live chat, ticketing, chatbots, and automation in one intuitive workspace. Unlike legacy tools that bolt AI on top, Text Intelligenceโ„ข is built into every workflow โ€” automatically handling inquiries, routing tickets, and assisting agents in real time. This makes support not only faster and more consistent but also easier to scale without complexity.

ReleasePad's answer:

Most changelog tools assume you'll write the release notes. ReleasePad assumes you won't. It connects to your GitHub repo, drafts release notes from merged PRs and commits using AI, and waits for one click of approval before publishing. From there it distributes to three places at once: a 4.3kb in-app widget, a public hosted SEO page, and a machine-readable Markdown URL that ChatGPT, Claude, and any other model can read. That third channel is the part nobody else ships, when a user asks an AI assistant "what changed in this API?", ReleasePad makes sure the assistant has the real answer instead of guessing.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Text.com's answer

Text App offers a rare combination of speed, simplicity, and scalability. Competing platforms often require multiple add-ons or complex integrations to achieve the same result. With Text App, businesses get one workspace for all customer interactions, AI automation included out of the box, and a setup that takes less than an hour. Teams can reduce repetitive tasks by up to 80% and deliver a better customer experience, all while lowering total cost of ownership.

ReleasePad's answer:

Pricing and effort. Beamer starts at $49/mo and scales with monthly active users; Canny's Pro plan starts at $79/mo and scales with tracked users. ReleasePad is $35/mo flat per product, same price for a team of 1 or 200, no per seat fees, no usage cliff as you grow. And the DIY route (Notion, a blog, a Confluence page) is only free until you count the hours: you still write every entry by hand, still maintain the page, and still get no in-app surface or analytics. ReleasePad takes 30 seconds and one line of code to install, drafts the writing for you, and tells you which updates people actually opened.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Text.com's answer

Our primary audience is ecommerce and digital-first businesses โ€” companies that live in the inbox and need to manage a high volume of customer interactions across web, email, and messaging apps like WhatsApp and Messenger. Text App also serves SaaS, retail, and service companies looking for AI-powered support software that can scale from 50 to 5,000 conversations a day.

ReleasePad's answer:

SaaS teams that ship faster than they communicate, indie hackers, solo founders, and small-to-mid product and engineering teams who merge PRs weekly but have no dedicated marketing or docs person. Typical buyer is a founder, head of product, or engineering lead at a product-led company where releases are constant and invisible. 153+ teams use it today, with 15,793+ release notes published..

What's the story behind your product?

Text.com's answer

Text App is the result of over 20 years of building customer communication tools at Textยฎ. We listened to thousands of companies using LiveChat, HelpDesk, and ChatBot, and saw the frustration of managing multiple disconnected products. Instead of adding another layer, we started fresh โ€” creating one AI-first platform that brings everything together. Text App is the evolution of decades of experience, redesigned for speed, automation, and modern customer expectations.

ReleasePad's answer:

I've worked in technology companies all my life. I've kept watching teams merge twenty PRs a month while their end users, and their prospects, assumed the product had stalled. The changelog was always the last thing anyone wrote and the first thing that fell off. ReleasePad's premise is that if it isn't announced, it didn't happen: buyers check your pulse before they pay, and now AI assistants answer questions about your product whether or not you've given them anything accurate to read. The June 2026 launch of machine-readable Markdown output made that second audience explicit, your changelog now has human readers and agent readers, and both should get the same source of truth.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Text.com's answer

Text App is built as a cloud-native SaaS platform. It uses modern web technologies including React, Node.js, and scalable microservices architecture. The AI layer, Text Intelligenceโ„ข, leverages large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning pipelines trained on customer support data. It integrates natively with ecommerce platforms like Shopify and messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Messenger.

ReleasePad's answer:

Elixir + Phoenix + Redis + TailwindCSS + Vanilla JavaScript.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

ReleasePad's answer:

-Orbitly -Stacklane -Nexaform -Claritask
