Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Ten Number 5 features

  • Parent Portal & Communication

  • Improved Code Organization
Modular JavaScript allows developers to break down code into smaller, manageable modules. This enhances code readability and maintainability by organizing related functionality together.
  • Code Reusability
Modules encourage reusability by allowing the same piece of code to be used across different projects or multiple areas of the same application, reducing redundancy.
  • Scalability
As the application grows, managing code becomes easier with modular JavaScript. Each module can be developed, tested, and maintained independently, making the codebase more scalable.
  • Encapsulation
Modules provide encapsulation, preventing variables and functions from polluting the global namespace. This reduces the risk of naming conflicts and bugs.
  • Improved Testing
With code organized into discrete modules, writing unit tests becomes more straightforward. Each module can be tested individually, leading to more reliable and maintainable tests.

Possible disadvantages

  • Increased Complexity
Introducing modularity can add complexity to the build process, as it often requires module loaders or bundlers (like Webpack or Browserify) to manage dependencies.
  • Overhead
For smaller projects, using a modular approach might be overkill, introducing unnecessary overhead in terms of setup, configuration, and code management.
  • Learning Curve
Developers unfamiliar with modular JavaScript may face a learning curve, especially when dealing with module patterns, loaders, and bundlers.
  • Dependency Management
Relying on multiple modules can lead to complex dependency chains, making it challenging to track and resolve dependencies across different modules.
  • Performance Overhead
Modular JavaScript can introduce performance overhead if not managed properly, such as loading many small modules individually, leading to increased HTTP requests.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Ten Number and Modular JavaScript.

What makes your product unique?

Ten Number's answer

  • Every module in every plan. Plans differ only in athlete and coach capacity; attendance, fees, bookkeeping, parent portal, store and automation are never locked behind an upsell.
  • Adapts to the sport. Positions, drill library, tactical board, match statistics and evaluation templates change with the selected sport (15 sports, from football and basketball to swimming, archery and water polo).
  • Runs the business, not only the roster. Automatic monthly fee generation, overdue tracking, receipts, income/expense and account reports sit next to attendance and training.
  • Parents are in the loop. A parent portal shows attendance, fees and announcements; bulk WhatsApp messaging and rule-based automation handle reminders.
  • Privacy by design. Athlete documents and health fields are encrypted at rest (KVKK/GDPR).
  • Web and mobile (iOS/Android) in one subscription, interface in 14 languages, built in Türkiye.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Ten Number's answer

Most club apps focus on scheduling and team chat. Ten Number covers that, but it also runs the financial and administrative side of a sports school: fee generation and collections, bookkeeping, club store with inventory, staff and leave management, asset tracking. A club owner does not need a second tool for money.

Compared with desktop-era club software, it is web + mobile, multi-branch, works from the field on a phone, and gives parents their own app view instead of PDF reports.

Pricing is transparent and local: monthly plans in Turkish lira by athlete capacity, no per-module add-ons, no credit card to start.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Ten Number's answer

Owners and managers of sports schools, academies and clubs with roughly 50 to 400 athletes, mainly youth sports. Three groups use it every day:

  • Owners / administrators track fees, collections, attendance rates and reports on the web.
  • Coaches take attendance, plan training and record match statistics from the mobile app on the field.
  • Parents follow their child's attendance, fees and announcements through the parent portal.

The primary market is Türkiye; the interface is available in 14 languages.

What's the story behind your product?

Ten Number's answer

Ten Number started inside a sports academy, not a software company. The founder runs a youth academy and kept juggling spreadsheets for attendance, a separate notebook for fees and WhatsApp groups for parents, none of which talked to each other.

The first version, called "10n", was built in 2026 to replace that stack for one academy. It grew into a multi-tenant platform for sports schools and clubs, with the web app, the mobile app and the parent portal sharing one data model. The name "Ten Number" is the English reading of 10n.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Ten Number's answer

  • Backend: .NET 9 (ASP.NET Core Web API), Clean Architecture with CQRS (MediatR), PostgreSQL 16, Redis
  • Web app: React 18, TypeScript, Vite, TailwindCSS, TanStack Query
  • Mobile app: React Native (Expo), shared core logic with the web app
  • Infrastructure: Docker on Hetzner, Cloudflare in front; athlete documents and health fields encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM)
  • Messaging: WhatsApp integration for bulk messages and rule-based automation
