VSCoder Copilot's answer:
VSCoder Copilot bridges the gap between your desktop coding environment and your phone — without compromising privacy or performance. Unlike typical AI assistants, it doesn’t rely on cloud servers. Instead, it securely connects your phone to your own VS Code instance, allowing you to chat with Copilot, view files, and commit changes in real time from anywhere.
VSCoder Copilot's answer:

No cloud uploads or external code sharing Real-time sync with your local projects Native integration with GitHub Copilot and VSCode extensions Lightweight React Native interface designed for serious developers, not hobby use
VSCoder Copilot's answer:
Developers who live on the move — freelancers, indie devs, and engineers who like to review or refactor code during commutes, coffee breaks, or downtime. It’s also a great fit for remote teams that need fast feedback cycles without always being tied to their main machine.
VSCoder Copilot's answer:
It started as a personal frustration: having ideas or needing to fix small issues while away from the desk. The goal was simple — make Copilot and VS Code accessible anywhere, instantly, without depending on web IDEs. After months of experimenting with WebSocket tunnels, token-based encryption, and mobile UX, VSCoder Copilot was born — bringing full developer freedom to the pocket.
VSCoder Copilot's answer:
Frontend: React Native (Expo) Backend / Runtime: Go + Redis Integration: VS Code Extension (TypeScript) Infrastructure: Firebase, GCP, and NGINX Security: Token-based encrypted pairing
VSCoder Copilot's answer:
While still in early growth, the app has already been adopted by: Independent developers and mobile dev studios Remote engineering teams Tech enthusiasts who use VS Code as their main IDE
Worked in a fully remote and geographically distributed team of 35 people with my previous employer. Managed about 50 marketing projects of different size simultaneously.
I would recommend this app to any team that works mostly with marketing projects and needs different levels of client's and team members' access, it is also very convenient to store project info in threads and keep an eye on simultaneous processes and deadlines. Mobile app is cool.
Before Teamwork I worked with eXo Platform, Trello, Basecamp, Worksection.

AirBnb wrote an article about why they moved away from RN, udacity wrote a post saying that it was the same for them, Netflix said they tested it early on but couldn't preform so they went native, teamwork.com re-wrote everything in native, notion started cross platform and is now going native, facebooks own messenger team refused to use RN for their re-write as they couldn't get the performance. I have spent (wasted...) way to many hours on finding a good solution for my team. The problem is I really love teamwork.com, it has the ability to sort "My tasks", and other views which are awesome. Most of our projects follow the same "path", so we need to make a documentation, send a quotation, write tasks for developers etc. that's why I would need a project template option, so I only have to write this one... Most products, including teamwork.com as far as I can see, have gone all SaaS, because subscription models are lucrative, whereas I'm looking for something that's available offline and backed up locally. Source: almost 4 years ago
Not 100% clear on the sequential or unique job IDs. But we recently switched to Teamwork and it's been pretty great. It looks like my projects, jobs and tasks all have unique IDs in the URL. It has a nice Gantt chart, subtasks on jobs, handles timesheets, invoices and overall pretty damn flexible. Source: over 4 years ago
