It was the closest thing to a dating app based on your music taste by being tied to your last.fm account. If you just needed a concert buddy or wanted to talk music, it filled those niches well. I'd think with the resurgence of last.fm recently, Tastebuds would see a resurgence too. It's still up but seems super dead. Source: over 3 years ago
