Taskwarrior
Google Cloud FunctionsTaskwarrior is recommended for developers, system administrators, and power users who appreciate command-line tools and need a robust and flexible task management system. It is also suitable for users who value open-source software and those who are looking for an extensive range of features to manage complex workflows.
Taskwarrior might be a bit more popular than Google Cloud Functions. We know about 60 links to it since March 2021 and only 52 links to Google Cloud Functions. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Orientation and advisory, hand-rolled and honest by discipline. Here's where your own loop lives today: a STATUS.md or CURRENT-FOCUS you re-read each session, todo.txt, Taskwarrior, a Linear board you run solo. All operator-facing, all real, and all kept honest by you remembering to update them. No enforcement. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
The task warrior you can download here and I recommend to use the Task Warrior TUI for have a better visualization in the terminal. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
I was inspired by Taskwarrior โ powerful, keyboard-driven, terminal-native. But I wanted a proper TUI and a local API I could build on top of. Nothing out there quite fit, so I built my own. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
Feels like a project covering some of the same ground as task warrior [0], which I've used on and off over the years. The main thing I've appreciated is integration with various tools - I had access in both vimwiki and the macOS task bar for a while which was nice - but all these tools miss the key thing that stops me using them all the time: integration with tools on my phone. It's great having cli access to... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Makes me wonder whether you can just give agents [Taskwarrior](https://taskwarrior.org/). Set the TASKDATA to `./.task/`. Then tell the agents to use the task CLI. The benefit is most LLMs already understand Taskwarrior. They've never heard of Beads. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
If this sounds like Cloud Functions, here's the history. Cloud Functions 1st gen ran on older, separate infrastructure with strict limits: 9-minute timeouts, one request per instance, no concurrency. Cloud Functions 2nd gen (GA in 2022) was already built on top of Cloud Run under the hood, which unlocked 60-minute timeouts and multi-request concurrency. In 2024, Google made it official and rebranded 2nd gen as... - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
Cloud Functions (GCF) -- originally serverless functions to compete with AWS Lambda; latest generation rebranded as Cloud Run Functions. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
Of course, I can't just directly give my static website permissions to modify my databases, which is why I created a Cloud Function as a "middle-man" -- we should always assume there will be malicious actors that will cause irreparable damage if they have direct access to a database (I don't want to get charged by Google Cloud hehe). - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
Itโs a lightweight GitHub App built with Probot and deployed serverlessly on GCF. Here's what it does:. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
Serverless architectures are revolutionizing software development by removing the need for server management. Cloud services like AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, and Azure Functions allow developers to concentrate on writing code, as these platforms handle scaling automatically. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
