Every signal is resolved against a proprietary catalog of 6,000+ AI tools recording data risk, processing country, retention policy and whether the vendor trains on customer data.

What it produces. Each tool is scoped by company policy as allowed, restricted or prohibited. Employees digitally sign the AI usage policy. The compliance module covers 24 pre-configured frameworks โ€” LGPD, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, BACEN 4.893, SUSEP 638, ANS RN 452 and others โ€” with automatic evidence crosswalk between equivalent frameworks, per-control evidence attachments and a tokenized external-auditor view. Tangerin AI was built by specialists in cybersecurity, IT and project delivery with more than 20 years serving mid-sized and large companies across Brazil and Latin America โ€” and who are heavy AI users themselves. We watched adoption move far faster than control: employees pasting company data into LLMs that train on what they receive, with no policy, no inventory and no evidence to show for it. The exposure was widespread and the market answering it was thin. So we brought our own body of knowledge into a product and built technology of our own for it, designed for companies of every size, focused on the Brazilian market first and the global market next.
