  • Not Always Unique
Using pre-built components might result in less unique designs, as other developers and projects using Tailwind UI can have similar looks and feels.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Tailwind UI and Valuecase.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Valuecase's answer:

Valuecase is purpose-built for external customer collaboration. Compared with email, SharePoint or internal project management tools, it gives customers a polished, easy-to-use portal while providing internal teams with templates, automation and portfolio-wide visibility. Unlike platforms focused exclusively on either digital sales rooms or onboarding, Valuecase supports both stages of the customer journey. It offers unlimited customer viewers and Spaces, extensive branding, CRM integrations, an AI Agent and MCP, as well as hands-on implementation support. Valuecase is also ISO 27001-certified, GDPR-compliant and hosted on AWS in Germany.

What makes your product unique?

Valuecase's answer:

Valuecase brings the entire B2B customer journey into one branded, collaborative workspaceโ€”from digital sales rooms before signature to customer onboarding after it. Teams can combine content, mutual action plans, tasks, forms, chat and progress tracking in a single Space. Templates, CRM integrations, automation and AI make every process scalable and personalised, while customers can participate without creating an account. Valuecase also provides central visibility into engagement, progress and outstanding actions across all customer Spaces.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Valuecase's answer:

Valuecase is designed for B2B revenue and customer teamsโ€”particularly Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding and Implementation teams at SaaS, technology and service businesses. It is especially valuable when deals or onboarding projects involve multiple stakeholders, shared content and data, deadlines, approvals or regular follow-ups. Valuecase serves organisations ranging from fast-growing startups and mid-market businesses to global enterprises, and is currently used by more than 500 B2B companies.

What's the story behind your product?

Valuecase's answer:

Valuecase was founded in Hamburg in 2021 by Dr Jan Niklas Wick and Lennart Prange. The idea came from a simple frustration: while B2C companies had made buying fast and intuitive, B2B customer journeys still depended on PDFs, spreadsheets, scattered links and endless email chains. The founders set out to create a buyer-centric digital workspace that would make collaboration between B2B companies and their customers more seamless. Valuecase initially focused on digital sales rooms and subsequently expanded across the customer journey into onboarding and implementation. In 2022, the company raised โ‚ฌ3.5 million from Picus Capital, XAnge, 10x Founders and experienced angel investors. Today, more than 500 B2B companies use Valuecase.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Valuecase's answer:

Valuecase uses an end-to-end TypeScript stack. The frontend is built with React and Tailwind CSS, while the backend uses NestJS and Node.js with PostgreSQL as the primary database. The platform is hosted on AWS in Germany. Its AI capabilities use modern LLM-based agent technology and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect Valuecase with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Valuecase's answer:

  • Deutsche Bahn
  • The Access Group
  • team.blue
  • Usercentrics
  • Welcome to the Jungle
  • WorkMotion
  • Visit Group

  • Getting Tailwind CSS Running in React and Next.js (Without the Headaches)
Tailwind UI is a commercial component library, but even the free examples teach you solid patterns for responsive design and component architecture. I learned a lot just by reading through their example code. - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago

Studying existing component systems is a great starting point. You have to imitate and respect the systems that already exist before you can innovate on new things from scratch. I'd recommend starting by reading, building with, and imitating the most well-known frameworks for some personal projects. You can also find some good Figma projects to get started with on each of these. https://tailwindui.com/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago

  • Ant Design โ€“ the second most popular React UI framework
There's https://tailwindui.com/?ref=top, from the Tailwind CSS people. They come with a "HTML" mode, which I think means no JS. But if you need interactivity, on the web it has to be JS, because that's the only thing that can manipulate the DOM. The alternative would be something like a server-updated Canvas where the UI is done outside of the DOM and not in the client, but even that would need some JS shims just... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
