ZoneClip is a free, local-first desktop beta for turning long gameplay recordings and stream VODs into reviewable short-form clips. It analyzes a VOD in two stages, ranks several highlight candidates, and shows each source range, relative score, and plain-language reason. Creators choose which moments to edit instead of receiving a locked export.
The vertical editor supports gameplay-first, facecam, split, blurred, fullscreen, mosaic, and game-UI layouts. Captions, framing, timing, and visual layers remain editable before the final render is produced locally from the original recording.
ZoneClip is available for Windows x64 and macOS on Apple silicon. ZoneClip Free is $0 forever, with no watermark, no trial deadline, and no commercial-use restriction. Source-quality export supports up to 4K and 60 FPS when provided by the source. After required models are installed, Local mode can keep highlight analysis, speech recognition, editing, captioning, and rendering on the device. Optional custom-provider and Zone Cloud modes are also available.
ZoneClip is currently in beta. Highlight scores compare candidates within a recording; they do not predict views or guarantee virality.
