Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing StoryWith AI and Codegres.org.

What makes your product unique?

StoryWith AI's answer

StoryWith AI is assistive, never generative. Instead of writing your book for you, it reads the manuscript you already wrote and runs a full developmental analysis — structure, character arc, dialogue, continuity, readability, and theme — plus synthesized reader feedback, then hands you a prioritized revision plan of what to fix next. Your voice and your rights stay yours.

What's the story behind your product?

StoryWith AI's answer

StoryWith AI grew out of a simple frustration: every new AI writing tool wanted to write the book for the author. But serious writers don't want their voice replaced — they want to understand what's working and what isn't, and know what to fix next. StoryWith was built to help authors see their story "as a system": draft it, diagnose it across structure, arc, dialogue, continuity, readability and theme, gather real reader feedback, and get a prioritized revision plan — all while keeping full ownership of their words.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

StoryWith AI's answer

Most AI writing tools sit at the extremes: generative co-writers (e.g. Sudowrite) write prose for you, while line editors (e.g. ProWritingAid) focus on grammar and style. StoryWith owns the developmental middle — it tells you what to fix in the story and in what order, combining structure, arc, dialogue, continuity, readability and theme analysis with synthesized reader feedback into one ranked action plan. And it never rewrites your words: assistive, never generative.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

StoryWith AI's answer

Novelists and non-fiction authors who already have a draft and want to make it better — writers preparing a manuscript for revision, beta reading, or submission to agents and publishers. It's built for people who want analysis and honest feedback on the book they wrote, not AI-generated text. Fiction and non-fiction, from first-time authors to experienced self-publishers, in 10 languages.
