  1. Has almost everything I need

I've started using this as my main IDE for new projects when I'm trying things out. If it keeps getting better at the rate it has been, it'll be even better than coding locally.

    ๐Ÿ Competitors: replit
๐Ÿ‘ Pros:    Easy to get started and operate|Fast|Supports common extensions|Works with most npm packages
๐Ÿ‘Ž Cons:    Still not as good as local development|Can be hard to debug|Build times can be slower than local

All applications created on StackBlitz also get deployed automatically on their servers! So, this Angular toy app I just created is hosted automatically on https://angular-yvyi2j.stackblitz.io/. Most likely, the URL is still working (will load slowly, though, as youโ€™d expect when hosted for free)!

Google Duo Reviews

FaceTime isn't on Android: here are three alternatives you can use
Google Duo is a relatively recent attempt from Google to make Androidโ€™s version of FaceTime, and while it seemingly hasnโ€™t managed that in terms of popularity, the quality is certainly there.
9 best FaceTime alternatives for Android phones
Google Duo works on both Android and iOS devices, allowing you to call your friends and family, regardless of what kind of smartphone theyโ€™re using. You either can place one-on-one calls or group voice and video chats with up to eight people, and Duo gives you option to leave video messages. Duo has a nice โ€œKnock Knockโ€ feature that lets you see who is calling with a live...
Best FaceTime alternatives for video calls
Google Duo probably isn't the best app for group video chats. The app could add conference calling capabilities soon, however. Users may still want to operate with Skype for now.

  • RS-X: Framework-agnostic reactive state and expressions for JavaScript/TS
Managing reactive state and dependent computations in JavaScript can get complex, especially when combining asynchronous and synchronous data. RS-X is a library that allows you to bind expressions to plain objects and makes the parts of the model used by those expressions fully reactive. Dependent computations automatically update when the underlying data changes. RS-X is framework-agnostic. While it can drive UI... - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
  • Show HN: I combine Htmx, LiveView and SolidJS for interactive server components
I like htmx, LiveView, React and Solid. They are great at different points, so I try to combine them in Solv (Stateless Offline-capable LiveView) and write a prototype to show the benefits. Solv's main idea is that stateless servers keep client's state in a volatile cache. It enables server components that are also interactive, which is best of both worlds between LiveView and htmx. Then fine-grained reactivity is... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
  • Show HN: Solv โ€“ Stateless Offline-Capable LiveView โ€“ Prototype 03
I like htmx, LiveView, React and Solid. They are great at different points, and this is a prototype trying to combine them. Solv's main idea is that stateless servers keep client's state in a volatile cache. It enables server components that are also interactive, which is best of both worlds between LiveView and htmx. • Google Duo merger with Meet starts rolling out
We are frequent users of the Duo For Web interface. We particularly like the quick way we can create a small group. Arranging a quick group meeting using Meet is more cumbersome as you have to send invites via email instead of just ringing/calling the group participants all at once. Source: about 4 years ago
  • Google Duo and Google voice
I've never tried this, but I think the is an option to use duo through a web browser, by logging into your google account. Take a look at: https://duo.google.com/about/. Source: over 4 years ago

Alternatively, you can ignore all that and use Duo on the web. Enroll in Duo on your Fi phone, then https://duo.google.com/about/ and login to Fi account. Click on a contact then select Voice call. Source: over 5 years ago
