There's dozens of tools out there for this these days. I'd recommend sonix.ai they give you 30 minutes free. Source: about 3 years ago
Do you have a budget? If so, there's this tool I've worked with called Sonix that generates transcripts of what you feed into it. It's not super accurate, but it's good enough. One of the features is that you can "highlight" chunks of text, and have it spit out an XML that will have a sequence containing only the highlighted text. Source: over 3 years ago
Sonix was the one I used because it had 30 free minutes and the video was only 10-11 minutes long. It seems to have done a really decent job, but not sure if that's because the source audio is pretty clear. Source: over 3 years ago

I will say, when I have to use the apple Magic... Source: over 3 years ago
I can confirm that CommandPost works! I tried it out today and while it took me a few minutes of tweaking the settings, now the Speed Editor is fully rebindable in any app in MacOS either using keyboard shortcuts or menu iteums. It take a little getting used to the CommandPost interface, but once youโve mapped everything, you donโt have to use it unless you want to make changes. My major issue is that thereโs no... CommandPost can do that for you, but it might be a bit wonky: https://commandpost.io. Source: over 4 years ago
CommandPost - Plug-in suite for Premiere and FCPX primarily for using control surfaces. Mainly Iโve used this to enable scrolling timeline on FCPX but Iโm sure thereโs so much more to discover in this app. Source: over 4 years ago
