SOAX features and specs

  • Wide Range of Proxies
SOAX offers a large pool of both residential and mobile proxies from various countries, which enhances the ability to access region-specific content and perform robust web scraping tasks.
  • Rotating Proxies
The platform provides rotating proxies, which automatically change IP addresses, reducing the risk of IP bans and allowing for continuous web scraping without interruptions.
  • Ease of Use
The user-friendly interface and easy integration make SOAX accessible even to users who may not have extensive technical expertise.
  • Flexible Pricing
SOAX offers various pricing plans based on traffic usage, which allows businesses to choose a plan that best fits their needs and budget.
  • High Anonymity
With high levels of anonymity and security features, SOAX helps ensure that user data remains private and secure while using the proxies.

Possible disadvantages of SOAX

  • Pricing Complexity
The pricing model can be confusing for some users, especially when trying to calculate costs based on traffic usage in different regions.
  • Potential Speed Variability
As with many proxy services, there can be variations in connection speed, which may affect the performance of certain tasks, particularly those requiring faster data retrieval.
  • Restricted Free Trial
The limitations on the free trial may not provide enough time or resources for some users to thoroughly evaluate all the features of the service before committing.
  • Limited Support for Specific Needs
While SOAX offers a wide range of proxies, users with highly specific needs or those who require proxies from less common regions might find limited options.

ThreadRecap features and specs

  • WhatsApp Export Analysis
Upload a WhatsApp .zip or .txt export and get a structured report. No integration, no account needed for the other participants.

Voice messages (OPUS, M4A, MP3) are transcribed and merged into the conversation timeline, so spoken commitments are captured alongside text.

  • Chronological Evidence Report
Timestamped record of agreements, payments, responsibilities and disputed claims, with quoted messages in date order.

Upload first, then follow up in chat. ThreadRecap suggests what to extract next: dispute timeline, meeting recap, sentiment, group dynamics, and more.

  • Six Languages
Interface and analysis in English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian and French.

Analysis of ThreadRecap

Overall verdict

  • ThreadRecap appears to be a niche tool designed to summarize long social media threads (particularly Twitter/X threads) into concise recaps, which can be useful for saving time, but I don't have verified, up-to-date information confirming its current reliability, accuracy, or user satisfaction since I lack direct access to real-time reviews or the live site's current state.

Why this product is good

  • Could save time by condensing lengthy threads into digestible summaries
  • Potentially useful for staying updated on trending discussions without reading every reply
  • May help content creators or researchers quickly extract key points from viral threads
  • Simple, focused utility rather than a bloated all-in-one tool, if it works as described

Recommended for

  • Social media managers who need quick digests of trending threads
  • Researchers or journalists tracking public discourse on platforms like X/Twitter
  • Busy professionals who want key takeaways without scrolling through long threads
  • Content creators looking to repurpose thread summaries for newsletters or posts

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SOAX and ThreadRecap.

What makes your product unique?

ThreadRecap's answer:

Most summarizers expect you to paste text. ThreadRecap takes the raw WhatsApp export, the .zip with thousands of messages and voice notes, and turns it into a timestamped record you can hand to someone else. Voice messages are transcribed and merged into the same timeline as the text, so a commitment made in a 4 minute audio at 11pm sits in date order next to everything else. The output is not a paragraph of prose. It is decisions, agreements, deadlines, responsibilities and quoted messages, in chronological order.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

ThreadRecap's answer:

Generic AI assistants can summarize a chat you paste, but they hit token limits on long threads, ignore voice notes, and give you a different structure every time you ask. Chat statistics tools give you word clouds and message counts, which is not what you need when you are trying to prove what was agreed. ThreadRecap is built for the specific job of turning a full export into a structured, repeatable record. It works in six languages, needs no integration or account for the other participants, and you pay per analysis instead of subscribing.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

ThreadRecap's answer:

Solo professionals and individuals who need to establish what was actually agreed in a conversation. In practice: real estate agents, recruiters and HR, small business owners, freelancers dealing with clients, and people documenting a personal dispute over a rental, a partnership or a family matter. A second, lighter audience uses it to catch up on long work or family group chats. Buyers are spread across more than 20 countries, led by the UK, the US, Italy and Switzerland.

What's the story behind your product?

ThreadRecap's answer:

It started as a personal tool. I kept receiving long voice notes and endless work threads, and wanted the main points without listening to everything again. I built the first version over a weekend and published it as a proof of concept, mostly to see whether anyone else cared. People did, but not for the reason I expected. Instead of catching up on chats, they were using it to document disputes, prove agreements and produce a record of what was said. That reframed the whole product, and the roadmap has followed the users ever since.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

ThreadRecap's answer:

Next.js and React with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js on the backend, deployed on Vercel. Voice note transcription uses OpenAI Whisper, analysis runs on large language models, and payments go through Stripe.

Top 10 Alternatives to Bright Data (formerly Luminati Proxy Networks)
The proxy pool is one of the cleanest as it is regularly being updated. Currently, it has over 5 million residential IP addresses sourced from many locations. As stated earlier, Soax is affordable even though its pricing model is the same with both Smartproxy and Bright Data – bandwidth-based. Just like Smartproxy, all you need to use the Soax service is a minimum of $75.

So you can use Soax to create multiple users with different ISPs and locations so that when your competition changes their prices or adds new features, you'll be able to see which ones work best for customers in different areas worldwide.
17 BEST Residential Proxies to Buy in 2022 (Cheap & Premium)
With Soax, people can get full anonymity while browsing the web. There is no limit on sending concurrent session requests. With the provider’s worldwide coverage, you will never find a website blocked.

Best Proxy Providers for Web Scraping
As you can see, Soax pricing model is quite simple, however it doesn't leave us with a lot of space for customization and bandwidth based pricing is quite painful. Soax is working on providing datacenter proxies in the future which might alleviate some of the pricing pains.

  • Added some high volume keywords to a CPA based search campaign but traffic dropped instead of increasing. What could be the reason? Please help.
Yo! It sounds like a bummer, but don't worry, we got this. There could be a few reasons for the drop in traffic, man. Here are some possibilities: 1. Your keywords might be too competitive, so your ads ain't showing up as much as they should. 2. Maybe your bids are too low to compete with others, so you gotta step up your game. 3. Quality Score is a big deal, bro. Make sure your ads, keywords, and landing pages... Source: over 3 years ago

Bypassing it ain't that simple, but there are some third-party services like 2Captcha or Anti-Captcha that can help you with solving captchas.
