Realistically, after taxes, I've calculated my first year take home to be ~60,000, after which (if no raises or bonuses, only riding my salary) take home will be ~55,000. I use smartasset.com Good tax calculator. Assume $100,000/ yr from JEPI/JEPQ. Married filing jointly I get effective Fed rate of 8.48% with $8481. My state is listed as eff rate of 4.87% or $4868. No FICA of course. Taxes total about 15%. Big deal. Now if you have $300,000 in dividends I would either go with qualified dividends or long term gains rate on selling shares. I've just installed Sonoma and it works mostly ok. Though I've ran into this issue where the OS doesn't seem to know where my mouse is until I click. The cursor itself is displayed where it should be and all, but if I right click something on the dock then I can't really click anything in the menu. If I hold the right click and then hover to what I want to do in the menu then it works. I also went to the website... Source: over 2 years ago
