    Years and years ago I used to use Malsup's jQuery Cycle plugin and then Cycle2 but these now seem long abandoned. I've also used both flexslider and slickslider but I'm wondering if there are better, more modern alternatives I could now be using instead to quickly create sliders or carousels.     If you find you're running the serial connection at maximum speed and it's still not fast enough, try switching to a more compact binary encoding that has both Serde and Arduino implementations, like MsgPack...
