Why not forget about Cloudflare and a VPN but get a 3 euro Hetzner server and install https://github.com/antoniomika/sish for dynamic DNS through SSH + Traefik with a DNS resolver and have yourself a wildcard certificate. That's the first I've heard of it, and I like it! I can't tell you the number of trips to php.net to look at argument order for a function. Is it haystack/needle, or needle/haystack?
