Two things, really.

It works across every web stack. Most client reporting tools assume your whole client list is on WordPress. If you build on Shopify, Astro, Next.js, custom stacks, or anything else, you end up juggling multiple reporting tools or skipping reports entirely. SendTidings is one tool, one report format, regardless of what the site runs on.

No client dashboard. Clients don't want another login. They want an email they can read on their phone over coffee. SendTidings sends a clean, branded report directly to their inbox every month. That's it. No "click here to log in to view your report" link they'll ignore.

Combine those two and you get the simplest possible client reporting setup: configure once per site, the reports send themselves, your clients see your brand (not ours) on every email.

A few reasons:

• Cross-stack support. ManageWP, MainWP, and WP Umbrella are WordPress-only. SendTidings works on WordPress, Shopify, Astro, Next.js, and custom builds. One tool covers your whole client list.
• Focused on agency reporting, not marketing analytics. Tools like Swydo, AgencyAnalytics, and DashThis are brilliant for ad-spend dashboards. SendTidings does something different — it's for agencies reporting on what they've actually done for client sites: performance, uptime (coming soon), SEO basics, and a monthly activity summary. If you're not running paid ads, you don't need a marketing-analytics platform.
• Branded, not co-branded. On paid plans, your clients see your logo and your domain on their report. No "Powered by SendTidings" footer in the client's monthly email.

Web agencies and freelance developers with client sites on retainer. Typically:

• Solo developers up to small agency teams (under ~30 people)
• Agencies who build on more than one platform — WordPress plus Shopify, or WordPress plus Astro, etc.
• Anyone offering a hosting and maintenance retainer who knows they should be sending monthly reports but never quite gets round to it

Not the audience: (in-house) marketing teams running paid ad campaigns. There are better tools for that. SendTidings is for the agency-to-client reporting relationship, not the marketing-team-to-CMO one.

I run a web agency in Oxfordshire.

For years I was quietly rubbish at client reporting. Sites would tick along nicely, plugins updated, no fires, and clients would hear absolutely nothing from me unless something broke.

I kept trying tools. Either they were sprawling marketing-analytics platforms that wanted £199/month and 47 integrations I'd never use, or they were WordPress-only plugins that had no idea of the custom HTML or Astro sites on my client list.
