  • Git-based deploys
    Connect a GitHub repo and every push to a connected branch builds and deploys automatically.
  • Framework detection
    We read your repo to find the framework, package manager, build command and output directory. You can override any of it.
  • Preview environments
    Every branch you connect gets its own URL with its own build settings and variables. Open a pull request and the preview builds on its own.

What makes your product unique?

SeaGit's answer

SeaGit is a Kubernetes DevOps platform that bridges the gap between a simple, user-friendly Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) like Heroku and the advanced control required by enterprise infrastructure.

What makes SeaGit unique is its "Bring Your Own Cloud" (BYOC) architecture combined with a push-to-deploy GitOps workflow. Unlike traditional platforms that lock you into their own hardware and runtimes, SeaGit builds real infrastructure inside your own cloud environment.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SeaGit's answer

A person should choose SeaGit because it deploys directly into your own cloud account while also fully managing the Kubernetes cluster—handling node groups, add-ons, and multi-cluster deployments.

Unlike competitors such as Heroku (which runs on its own infrastructure) or basic Bring-Your-Own-Cloud (BYOC) tiers that leave cluster management to you, SeaGit combines direct cloud ownership with complete cluster automation.

Light Cloud's answer:

You need one tool instead of four, and it takes minutes instead of a week.

  • A frontend host puts your React or Next.js app online and then leaves the database to you. Now you have two accounts, two bills, and a connection string to move between them.
  • Raw cloud gives you everything and no help, so your week goes on Dockerfiles, load balancers, certificates and CI before anyone can see the app.
  • Older platforms bill you for a server even when nobody is using it.

Here it's one signup and one push. Frontend, backend, Postgres, domains with SSL, logs and deploy history, all set up together, all on one invoice. Apps stop billing when they go idle, so you can keep six projects alive for almost nothing.

What's the story behind your product?

Light Cloud's answer:

I spent over ten years building and running cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP and Azure, mostly for other people. The pattern never changed. Every project meant putting the same pieces together again, from different vendors. And everyone I worked with could write the app but couldn't get it online on their own.

None of that was ever about the app. It was containers, certificates, DNS and a database. The same setup work every time, and it still eats most of the first week on a new project.

So I built the version where it's all in one place and takes a few clicks. It's still just me writing the code.
