My 2c from lots of remote math tutoring, and one coding-for-fun middle school student: - student motivation is everything. Hard to motivate thru a screen and with cameras off. Hard to keep them engaged or recognize if they're engaged. Less of an issue with adult students. - reduce friction for students as much as possible. Ideally one web tool, zero installs. The email to get excited about (the one for the PBA) comes from esignlive.com. When you get that, you're close to having a truck. Finally got the email with my PBA link! Was surprised to see a message from "Rivian" in my Inbox when I have a rule sending *everything* from rivian.com to a folder I keep right up top for easy monitoring. Turns out it was from the digital signature company, esignlive.com. Source: over 4 years ago
