It's a server management service, they use AWS (or your host of choice) under the hood. I personally use something similar called Runcloud which I haven't had any problems with. It's a halfway house between a managed platform and your own VPS. Means you don't have to worry about security, vhosts, ssl certificates, restricting access etc... With real person support if you need it, and a tidy interface to monitor... Source: almost 4 years ago

So after a good number of years on runcloud.io, (basic and Pro plans yes, I run multiple accounts) I am looking to see if there are alternatives to it, that may offer more features/same pricing or better pricing. Source: over 4 years ago
For PHP https://platform.sh has got a lot of traction, but it's notc cheap especially for small apps. If you hadn't wanted the Docker-based backing I would suggest trying one of the services that automates setting up your VMs at AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode etc like https://forge.laravel.com/, https://runcloud.io/, https://serverpilot.io/, https://www.cloudways.com/ etc. - Source: Hacker News / over 4 years ago
I moved off iTerm2 because I wanted a terminal that was fast and, more importantly, one whose entire appearance I could describe in text. - Source: dev.to / 9 days ago

I had a setup that worked perfectly for me, 3 screens (Actually 2 screen + Macbook Pro) One with IDE (WebStorm, Vscode and from time to time just sublime). Second with Terminal (started with iTerm2 and moved to Warp with Oh My Zsh and bunch of plugins) And last with Browser (Web or DB). - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
Claude Code comes with a notification hook. Some terminals support it natively (iTerm2, Kitty, Ghostty) but most don’t, and even when they do, it’s a system notification which is easy to miss if you step away. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
