RubyHiya is recommended for individuals who frequently receive spam or unknown calls and want an effective tool to identify and block these calls. It is also beneficial for those who prioritize ease of use and want a straightforward app to enhance their mobile security.
Ruby might be a bit more popular than Hiya. We know about 4 links to it since March 2021 and only 3 links to Hiya. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
On Thursday, I shared the importance of contributing to Ruby's documentation, and I wanted to show that even a small contribution can help. Thus, I showed a small PR I submitted for the ruby-lang.org website:. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
The counter function is written in Ruby. Since Ruby is an interpreted language, AssemblyLift deploys a customized Ruby 3.1 interpreter compiled to WebAssembly, which executes the function handler. Since the interpreter is somewhat large, the cold-start time of a Ruby function tends to be larger than that of a Rust function. Does other useful stuff too. Only does Ruby,... Source: over 4 years ago
Hiya.com - it comes default with most Samsung phones. Otherwise, you have to download it. It compares the incoming call and SMS telephone numbers against a database of known scammers, spammers and fraudsters. You can set it to auto block or let the call go through but with a caller ID warning that it's a suspected bad call. Source: almost 4 years ago
It turns out it's via a service called Hiya. Haven't looked fully into how you go about adding your name and phone number to that, but obviously it would only work on compatible phones. Source: over 4 years ago
But you're right - most of the time it's a local number (even though it really isn't)! You can get the hiya.com app, which is really helpful. Source: about 5 years ago
