rTorrent is recommended for experienced users who are comfortable working with command-line applications and who require a lightweight but feature-rich torrent client. It's particularly suitable for those running servers, remote shell environments, or anyone needing a low-overhead solution in terms of system resources. Itโs especially favored by those who value customization and automation through scripts.
We work in an agency that develops websites mainly in WordPress, and regularly based on our experience over several years of working with multiple clients, we have discovered that one of the main problems between agency-client is communication, which often sometimes is tedious and fruitless, but now with the visual debugger is easy to point in the screen what needs to be changed and do it quickly. Also, we had a problem calculating how much our will cost our services for the customers according to the time spent on their projects but now with the "Time tracking" function, we can know exactly how much time was dedicated to the project and based on that invoice the client with greater certainty.
I think this is a great solution for web designers that needs to clear all visual bugs of a website fast to deliver in less time and get more jobs quickly.
Based on our record, rTorrent seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 2 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

Where it really starts to shine is when you combine it with other CLI & TUI applications. I use openSSH, rtorrent and Tmux (or GNU screen) in combination with PIA's manual script to achieve a remote "seedbox". I don't need to access my computers when I'm away from my local network but one has the potential by creating their own local VPN or opening up the port to their seedbox. Source: over 4 years ago
