Couchdrop handles SFTP, MFT, EDI, and file automation in one modern platform. Integrate and level up your existing tools to exchange files with partners and platforms without code or infrastructure.
By being completely in the cloud, Couchdrop automatically scales to meet the needs of businesses from startups to enterprises. Organizations can securely transfer millions of files and terabytes of data with automatic scaling that can meet the most intense file transfer requirements, all without having any infrastructure management.
Supporting, simple, direct connections to storage like SharePoint, Dropbox, Azure, and more, Couchdrop integrates with over 20 platforms and growing. Couchdrop does not store data at any stage of the process and acts as a secure pipe between systems, leaving you in full control at all times.
Couchdrop aims to be simple and easy enough for anyone to use. An SFTP server is created immediately at sign-up, and all admin and management tasks are done through a modern, uncomplicated web interface where users can connect platforms, add external users, and build workflows using the no-code automation builder.
Automations are built and managed using a simple visual builder. Create workflows push or pull files from external sources and add move, copy, rename, encrypt/decrypt, compress/decompress, and more without writing a line of code. Combine with Couchdrop's multiple file intake methods to completely automate sending and receiving files securely.
These ingestion options include mailboxes for email attachments, upload links as a secure client-facing brandable web portal, and secure shared links with optional password protection and expiration.
Couchdrop is secure by design and can meet the security needs of the strictest enterprises. The platform is SOC 2 type II compliant, GDPR ready, and has a separate HIPAA-ready infrastructure and will sign a BAA for healthcare clients.

Ubuntu's rsync is samba rsync. It's not part of the samba project per se, but it is made by the same guy and the official url is https://rsync.samba.org/ so it's entirely fair to call it samba rsync in my opinion. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
Please bear in mind that there are [now] two distinct rsync codebases. The original is the GPL variant [today displaying "Upgrade required"]: https://rsync.samba.org/ The second is the BSD clone: https://www.openrsync.org/ The BSD version would be used on platforms that are intolerant of later versions of the GPL (Apple, Android, etc.). - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago

Does this apply to the GPL or BSD codebase? There are (now) two rsync codebases. GPL: https://rsync.samba.org/ BSD: https://www.openrsync.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Rsync can be used to synchronize a local disk to the pCloud drive p. Works similarly as the Sync option of the pCloud Drive app. May be useful if one prefers a bulk upload once a day over a continuous synchronization. Source: over 2 years ago
There are services like Couchdrop (https://couchdrop.io) that can overlay FTP/SFTP onto a ton of different cloud storage types, including Azure Blobs. They also include the ability to to email and webhook notifications on a per-folder basis, which we've found helpful for chucking alerts into Microsoft Teams when someone uploads or downloads a file. We currently use couchdrop.io for basic SFTP work. Although I'm interested in what others recommend. Source: over 4 years ago
