Based on our record, Rows should be more popular than Magic Playlist. It has been mentiond 24 times since March 2021. Alternatives were Rows and Airtable. Rows tends to be better at calculation, while Airtable tends to be better at storing and sorting data as a database. I was not aware of the open-source alternative called Baserow at the time. [Baserow], [APITable], [Grist], and [Rowy] are all open source Airtable alternatives which offer hosted SaaS versions that include API access, though it's a bit difficult to compare the API rate limits across all these products. Self-hosting an app like this would allow you to bypass API rate limits altogether, if you're open to it. I work at Rows. It’s a spreadsheet with native UI to import data from many services ( Google Analytics, Ads platforms, BigQuery,…) plus you can make your own custom api calls directly from the grid. In regards to OP’s question, lately I’ve been digging through genre specific sub-Reddits. There are tonnes of people out there who are absolutely obsessive about their love of certain artists. If I’m digging someone’s taste, I might go look at their comment history to see what else they like. I might then take any of the tunes that I find, plug them into Magic Playlist and then flip through the suggested tracks... Source: almost 5 years ago
