• I published a 15-year list of product management articles that covers much of my career to date. Saved first in bookmarks, then in Wordpress, then in Airtable, now in Baserow.

  Alternatives were Rows and Airtable. Rows tends to be better at calculation, while Airtable tends to be better at storing and sorting data as a database. I was not aware of the open-source alternative called Baserow at the time. Self-hosting an app like this would allow you to bypass API rate limits altogether, if you're open to it.   I work at Rows. It’s a spreadsheet with native UI to import data from many services ( Google Analytics, Ads platforms, BigQuery,…) plus you can make your own custom api calls directly from the grid.   To be honest, since you are just getting started, I think you should reconsider simplifying this app to begin with. Built something easier and get some more experience before jumping in the ocean. Maybe start by focusing only on the parent company and sub-companies.
