  • Potential Feature Limitations
Aggregator-style platforms often provide simplified versions of tools that may lack the advanced features or customization options found in specialized standalone applications.
  • Dependency on Internet Connection

  • Uncertain Long-term Support
As with many smaller developer tool platforms, there's uncertainty about the longevity of support, updates, and maintenance compared to established, well-funded alternatives.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing RoasFloor and DeveloperToolStack.

What makes your product unique?

RoasFloor's answer

It puts import duty inside the break-even math. Most break-even ROAS calculators stop at product cost and shipping, and most tariff tools hand you a duty number with no profit model attached. RoasFloor takes selling price, product cost, freight, packaging, payment and platform fees, returns and a duty assumption, then returns the ROAS and CPA a SKU has to beat. Published duty rates carry a source and a date, and anything we can't verify is marked N/A instead of guessed.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

RoasFloor's answer

It runs before you spend, not after. Profit trackers read orders you already have. RoasFloor answers what a SKU needs before the campaign goes live, so you can price, cut freight or drop the product before it burns budget. The calculators are free, need no account and no store connection, which means the same numbers work for Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop or a custom storefront. Pro is a flat $19 a month with no per-order cut, and it stores SKU cost profiles so you are not retyping costs every time freight or a duty rate moves.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

RoasFloor's answer

DTC and dropshipping sellers who import their products, plus the media buyers and small agencies who run their ads. Typically one to five people whose planning currently lives in a spreadsheet, selling in the $20 to $100 range where freight and duty decide whether a campaign can work at all. Store platform doesn't matter, since nothing needs to be connected.

What's the story behind your product?

RoasFloor's answer

The 2025 and 2026 tariff changes broke a lot of spreadsheets. De minimis went away, rates moved more than once, and the break-even ROAS people had memorised was suddenly wrong. The free calculators on the web ignored duty entirely, the duty tools disagreed with each other, and none of them connected to a profit model. RoasFloor started as one calculator to close that gap and grew into ten, plus reference pages that show where each rate came from and when it was last checked.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

RoasFloor's answer

Next.js and React on Vercel, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, self-hosted Supabase (Postgres) for the Pro workspace, Stripe for billing and Resend for email. The public calculators run entirely in the browser, so they keep working even when the database doesn't.
