About RetryFi and Open Devdocs

In their own words, as submitted to SaaSHub.

RetryFi
Open Devdocs

Failed payments are the silent MRR killer for subscription SaaS — Stripe retries the card, but nobody tells the customer to fix it. RetryFi closes that gap. It connects to your Stripe account with OAuth in seconds — RetryFi only reads your billing data and retries failed invoices; it never...

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing RetryFi and Open Devdocs.

What makes your product unique?

RetryFi's answer

RetryFi is opinionated about why a payment failed. It reads the Stripe decline code and reacts: soft declines (insufficient funds, generic) get smart retries, while hard declines (expired or lost card) skip retries and go straight to a branded "fix your card" email with a one-click update link. It runs alongside Stripe's own retries as a single branded sequence — no generic Stripe notices, no platform price tag, and no percentage cut of what you recover.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

RetryFi's answer

Most failed-payment tools fire generic retries or take a percentage of recovered revenue. RetryFi does neither. You get a branded, decline-code-aware sequence sent under your own name and logo, a recovery dashboard, and a 90-day historical scan of what you've already lost — set up in seconds with Stripe OAuth, no code. It's built and priced for indie SaaS: free up to 10 recoveries a month, flat $29 and $79 tiers above that, never a cut of your revenue.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

RetryFi's answer

Indie and bootstrapped SaaS founders running subscriptions on Stripe — usually solo or small teams losing recurring revenue to failed payments, who don't want an enterprise dunning platform or a tool that skims a percentage of what it recovers.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

RetryFi's answer

Next.js (React 19, TypeScript) front and back, Supabase (Postgres) for data and auth, the Stripe API via Connect/OAuth for billing, Inngest for the durable retry and dunning workflows, Resend + React Email for the branded emails, Recharts for the dashboard, and Tailwind CSS for the UI.
