It's also designed to actually be enjoyable to open, with a clean visual timeline that shows every place you visited, how you got there, and how long you stayed, all automatically.

It's private by design, requires zero setup, is battery-efficient, and is a one-time purchase with no subscription, because there are no server costs to pass on to you.

What's the story behind your product?

ReplayApp's answer

Replay started as a personal frustration with Google Timeline. Syncing issues, privacy concerns, and an interface I never actually wanted to open. I wanted something cleaner, fully private, and that just worked in the background without any extra thought. I'm a solo developer based in Hong Kong and I built Replay to be the app I always wished existed.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Replay is a native iOS app built with Swift, using Core Location and Core Motion for background GPS and activity detection. All data is stored locally on the device with no backend servers, which is what makes the full privacy guarantee possible.
