Recto is the only WordPress internal-linking tool that prioritizes REAL Google Search Console traffic—it fixes the orphan pages that are one link away from ranking, not random pages. Three things, nothing else combines: (1) GSC-traffic weighting, so you fix what actually moves rankings; (2) paragraph-level inline insertion that's verified live on the page—the link lands inside a real sentence, never dumped in a footer widget; (3) a constrained anchor engine that can only reuse phrasing already in your content, so it never invents copy or hallucinates a link. It's a real crawler with its own engine—not an AI wrapper. Bring your own OpenAI/ Anthropic key: no per-link fees, no usage ceiling.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

WordPress site owners doing their own SEO—niche-site builders, content marketers, bloggers, in-house SEOs, and freelance SEOs/agencies, typically running 50–5,000 pages. The classic Recto user has written a lot of content, knows internal linking matters, and refuses to hand-audit hundreds of URLs in Screaming Frog and a spreadsheet. Agencies stack it across every client site they manage.

What's the story behind your product?

recto's answer

Recto started from a frustration every content site hits: you publish hundreds of posts, then watch half of them get buried because nothing links to them. Google barely crawls these "orphan" pages, so the content you paid to create never ranks. The existing fixes were either a $100/yr-and-up plugin or a manual grind in a crawler and a spreadsheet. Recto was built to do it properly and once: crawl the whole site, find the orphans that real search traffic says are worth saving, and place a verified internal link inside existing copy—automatically. One-time price, because internal linking shouldn't be a subscription.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

recto's answer

Recto runs on Cloudflare's edge stack—Workers, D1, and Pages—for fast, global, serverless performance with no server to maintain. It connects to WordPress through a lightweight free connector plugin and to Google Search Console for traffic data. The AI anchor step is bring-your-own-key, compatible with OpenAI and Anthropic models.
