Read Your Scan features and specs

  • Plainโ€‘language scan report
Frontier vision AI reads the actual pixels and writes a patientโ€‘readable report โ€” what was seen, what it likely means, what to ask your doctor.
  • Findings pinned to the image
Every finding carries a series + slice + millimetre coordinate; one click jumps the crosshair to it on the scan. Wrong marker? Dragโ€‘correct it.
  • Radiology report decoder
Paste or upload the report you were given; each line is mapped onto your images with a severity rating and a Key Findings list.
  • 3D DICOM/NIfTI viewer
Free, no account. Multiplanar + 3D volume render, window/level, colormaps, pan/zoom, section cut. Runs in the browser โ€” files never leave your device.
  • Shareable link
Revocable public or private link that opens on the exact screen you were on โ€” same series, zoom, slice and highlighted finding. Readโ€‘only, nothing writable.

SuperCoder features and specs

  • Automated Coding Assistance
SuperCoder leverages AI agent capabilities to automate coding tasks, potentially speeding up development workflows by handling repetitive or boilerplate coding work.
  • Built on SuperAGI Framework
As an agent template within the SuperAGI ecosystem, it benefits from the underlying framework's infrastructure, tooling, and community support for autonomous agents.
  • Customizable Template
Being a template, it provides a starting point that developers can adapt and configure for their specific coding project needs rather than building an agent from scratch.
  • Open Source Nature
SuperAGI and its agent templates are typically open source, allowing developers to inspect, modify, and extend the code to fit their specific use cases without vendor lock-in.
  • Integration Potential
Being part of a broader agent ecosystem, SuperCoder can potentially integrate with other tools, APIs, and agents within the SuperAGI platform for more complex automated workflows.

Possible disadvantages of SuperCoder

  • Learning Curve
Users unfamiliar with the SuperAGI framework or agent-based architectures may face a steep learning curve to effectively configure and use SuperCoder for their projects.
  • Limited Documentation
As a relatively newer or niche tool, documentation and community resources may be less mature compared to more established coding assistants, making troubleshooting harder.
  • Dependency on SuperAGI Ecosystem
Being tied to the SuperAGI platform means users must adopt or work within that ecosystem, which could be a constraint if they prefer standalone tools.
  • Potential Reliability Issues
AI coding agents can sometimes produce inconsistent or incorrect code suggestions, requiring careful human review and validation before deployment.
  • Setup Complexity
Configuring an autonomous coding agent template may require more technical setup (API keys, environment configuration, model access) compared to simpler code completion tools.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Read Your Scan and SuperCoder.

What makes your product unique?

Read Your Scan's answer

Most tools that "explain your scan" only read the text of the radiology report. Read Your Scan reads the images.

You drop in the DICOM folder from your hospital CD (or a NIfTI file) and get two things at once: a real 3D viewer of your own scan in the browser, and a plainโ€‘language report where every finding is pinned to the exact series, slice and coordinate where it was seen. Click a finding and the crosshair jumps there. If the marker is off, you can correct it and it reโ€‘saves.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Read Your Scan's answer

The alternatives fall into two camps, and neither closes the loop.

General AI chatbots will happily explain your report, but they can't open your scan. They work from a paragraph of text, so they can never show you where โ€” and pasting your report into a general chatbot is a data decision most people haven't really made.

Professional viewers and PACS tools open the images beautifully, but they were built for radiologists. They explain nothing, and you need a license.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Read Your Scan's answer

People who just had an MRI, CT or Xโ€‘ray and are holding two things they can't use: a CD full of DICOM files no consumer computer will open, and a report written for another doctor.

The sharpest segment is spine patients โ€” cervical and lumbar โ€” because their reports are dense with levelโ€‘byโ€‘level findings ("C5โ€‘C6 disc protrusion with mild canal stenosis") that mean everything to their prognosis and nothing to them. Around them: family members and caregivers reading a relative's scan, people preparing for a secondโ€‘opinion consultation who want to arrive with questions, and patients in the gap between the scan and the followโ€‘up appointment โ€” often two or three weeks of silence.

There's a meaningful secondary audience of students and nonโ€‘radiologist clinicians who use the free viewer as a fast way to open a study.

Geographically it's global rather than USโ€‘centric โ€” the product ships in 9 languages because a large share of the demand isn't Englishโ€‘speaking.

What's the story behind your product?

Read Your Scan's answer

It started as a free 3D DICOM viewer โ€” a small tool to solve an absurd problem: hospitals hand you a CD of your own body and no way to look at it.

What turned it into a product was watching what patients already do. In spinalโ€‘stenosis support groups, people post photographs of their MRI to hundreds of strangers with the caption "is this bad?" They're not being reckless โ€” they've been handed a document about their own body that they can't read, and they'll take an answer from anyone. The cost is that their scan, sometimes with their name burned into the corner of the image, is now public forever.

Read Your Scan is the private, instant, betterโ€‘informed version of that impulse: an AI that actually reads the pixels, points at the finding on the scan, explains it in your language, and โ€” if you do want to show someone โ€” lets you anonymize it first and send a revocable link instead of a public post.

Swap the first paragraph for your own origin moment if there was one (your own scan, a family member's). SaaSHub story answers read much better with a specific person in them, and that's the one detail I can't write for you.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Read Your Scan's answer

Frontend / app: Next.js 15 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4.

Imaging: NiiVue for WebGL volume rendering, @niivue/dcm2niix compiled to WebAssembly for DICOMโ†’NIfTI conversion entirely in the browser, nifti-reader-js, and Tesseract.js (selfโ€‘hosted, no CDN) for OCRโ€‘based redaction of burnedโ€‘in text.

AI: Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini / MedGemma, and additional models via OpenRouter, used for vision analysis, report generation, grounded Q&A and translation.

Backend / infra: Supabase (Postgres with rowโ€‘level security, Auth, Storage), Stripe for credit purchases, Resend for transactional email, and Node.js on a VPS under PM2 behind Cloudflare.
