Milvus is a highly flexible, reliable, and blazing-fast cloud-native, open-source vector database. It powers embedding similarity search and AI applications and strives to make vector databases accessible to every organization. Milvus can store, index, and manage a billion+ embedding vectors generated by deep neural networks and other machine learning (ML) models. This level of scale is vital to handling the volumes of unstructured data generated to help organizations to analyze and act on it to provide better service, reduce fraud, avoid downtime, and make decisions faster.
Milvus is a graduated-stage project of the LF AI & Data Foundation.
react-context
MilvusReact Context is recommended for small to medium-sized applications or for managing specific sections of the application's state that are shared across many components. It is well-suited for developers looking for a lightweight approach to state management without introducing external dependencies.
Milvus is ideal for data scientists, AI researchers, and engineers who require efficient and scalable vector search solutions. It is also recommended for companies and projects dealing with recommendation systems, image and video search, natural language processing, and more.

React's hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext) allow for easy encapsulation of reactive business logic. The Context API reduces prop drilling by making state accessible at any component level. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Use context wherever possible: For application-wide state that needs to be accessed by many components, use the Context API to avoid prop drilling. Hereโs where to learn more about the context API. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
The context API is generally used for managing states that will be needed across an application. For example, we need our user data or tokens that are returned as part of the login response in the dashboard components. Also, some parts of our application need user data as well, so making use of the context API is more than solving the problem for us. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
Previously, in the legacy docs, the Context API was just one of the topics within the Advanced guides. Unless you went digging, you wouldn't have been introduced to it as one of the core ways to handle deep passing of data. I really like that, in the new docs, Context is recommended as a way to manage state as its one of the best ways to avoid prop drilling. - Source: dev.to / over 3 years ago

More engines. The engine abstraction is clean, adding a new one means implementing four methods (initialize, upsert, search, count). Weaviate, Chroma, and Milvus are very interesting candidates. I should evaluate if they fit the ecosystem and what they offer as peculiarity. Maybe a "plugin system" would be a good implementation to let folks implement their preferred semantic engine. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
