ePegboard's answer:
ePegboard started in 2011 as a way to replace the manual peg board and whiteboard that clubs used to organise their sessions. It began as a Windows app used by badminton clubs and has grown into web software that runs in any browser on a screen at the club. It is built and run by a small team who play the game themselves.
ePegboard's answer:
ePegboard automatically builds balanced doubles games during a live club session. Instead of an organiser working out who plays who, it picks games so they stay competitive, everyone gets a fair share of court time, and players mix across different partners and opponents through the night. Underneath sits a rating system that updates on how players perform against expectation, not just who won, which also powers handicap tournaments and fairer league team selection.
ePegboard's answer:
Two reasons. The game quality: fair, competitive, varied games with nobody stuck waiting or hogging a court, which is the part that actually keeps a club night enjoyable. And it is all in one place: running the session, ratings, handicap tournaments, league teams and analytics, rather than stitching separate tools together. It is also free to run your club on, with no subscription and no card details.
ePegboard's answer:
Badminton and pickleball clubs and the volunteers who organise their club nights. It suits mixed-ability social sessions especially, where balancing games by hand is hardest, as well as more competitive clubs running leagues and tournaments.
ePegboard's answer:
Badminton clubs across the UK use ePegboard to run their weekly club nights
