SignalVault sits between your application and AI providers like OpenAI and Anthropic. Every prompt and response flows through SignalVault's proxy, where it's encrypted, scanned for violations, and logged with a complete audit trail. Drop in with two lines of code โ change your base URL or use our Python/Node.js SDKs. No code rewrites, no complex setup.
What it does:
Encrypted audit logging โ every AI interaction is stored with AES-256-GCM encryption. Immutable, tamper-proof, and export-ready for SOC2 and GDPR reviews.
PII detection โ catches emails, phone numbers, SSNs, credit card numbers, and API keys in prompts before they reach the AI provider. Block, warn, or redact automatically.
Secret scanning โ detects API keys, tokens, and credentials leaking through prompts.
Budget controls โ set monthly cost limits and daily token caps per app. Get alerts before spend gets out of control.
Guardrail rules โ configure policies that enforce what your AI can and can't do. Core rules included on all plans, custom rules on Growth.
Mirror Mode โ async logging that stays off the request path. Full visibility with zero latency impact. See what would have been caught without blocking anything.
Built entirely in Elixir on the BEAM for fault tolerance and high concurrency. Dashboard powered by Phoenix LiveView. No JavaScript frameworks.
Pricing is per-app: Starter at $49/month, Growth at $149/month. Free to try with 100 requests, no credit card required. Unlimited logging and compliance exports included on all plans.
PythonAnywhere
SignalVault.ioPythonAnywhere is especially recommended for Python developers (beginners and intermediates), educators, students, and hobbyists who are looking for an easy and quick way to deploy and host their Python applications or who need an online python environment for coding practice.

SignalVault.io's answer:
SignalVault is the only AI infrastructure tool built compliance-first rather than routing-first. While other AI gateways bolt on audit logs as an afterthought, SignalVault encrypts every prompt and response with AES-256-GCM from day one, detects PII and secrets in real-time, and provides audit-ready exports on all plans - not just enterprise tiers. Unlimited logging with no log caps on any tier, which competitors like Portkey restrict behind $5K+/month enterprise plans. Built entirely in Elixir on the BEAM for telecom-grade fault tolerance.
SignalVault.io's answer:
SignalVault is actively used in production and onboarding new teams. We offer hands-on integration support to every customer.
SignalVault.io's answer:
Most AI gateways focus on routing and model switching. SignalVault focuses on trust and compliance โ the part that matters when a security team asks "what data did we send to the AI?" Three reasons teams choose SignalVault: unlimited logging on every plan (competitors cap logs and stop recording), compliance exports (CSV/JSON) included from day one (competitors gate this behind enterprise pricing), and Mirror Mode for zero-latency async monitoring that shows what would have been caught without blocking requests. Integration takes minutes - use the Python or Node.js SDK, or point your existing OpenAI/Anthropic client at the proxy.
SignalVault.io's answer:
Developers and engineering teams shipping AI-powered features to real customers who need to prove their AI usage is safe, compliant, and auditable. Especially teams preparing for SOC2, GDPR, or security reviews who can't afford enterprise-only compliance tooling. From solo developers shipping their first AI feature to growing SaaS companies with multiple environments and custom guardrail needs.
SignalVault.io's answer:
I was building AI features into my own products and realized there was no simple way to log what I was sending to AI providers, detect if customer data was leaking into prompts, or show an auditor what happened. The existing tools were either massive enterprise platforms with sales-call pricing or basic observability dashboards with no real compliance story. So I built SignalVault - the trust layer I needed for my own stack. It's designed to be as easy to integrate as Stripe is for payments: change one URL or install the SDK, and every AI request is logged, scanned, and governed.
SignalVault.io's answer:
SignalVault is built entirely on Elixir and Phoenix with LiveView for a real-time, server-rendered dashboard. The entire stack - proxy, PII detection engine, rule system, and dashboard - is pure Elixir, leveraging the BEAM's fault tolerance and concurrency for high-throughput proxy workloads. PostgreSQL for encrypted audit log storage. Encryption uses AES-256-GCM via Cloak, and API keys are hashed with HMAC-SHA256. Python and Node.js SDKs wrap the OpenAI client for drop-in integration.
Based on our record, PythonAnywhere seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 55 times since March 2021. The website is already built. Each comment will have a reddit post URL, and the bot should leave a comment on that URL. We can use pythonanywhere.com for this to make it easiest. Source: about 3 years ago
If you are learning, use pythonanywhere.com as they specialize in python, and make setup easy. Only $5 a month. Start with a barebones flask app, get it to run, then follow a tutorial. Actually better to build the app locally, easier to test with IDE like Pycharm. Then upload to the net. Source: about 3 years ago
Hello, I have a Minecraft server running on a Rpi with Paper. It works great and I use it to play with some of my friends. However, the server's public IP address often changes, meaning that I have to give my friends the new IP address daily. Being a programmer, I feel this could be automated. I don't want to buy a domain, so I want to try and setup a system where the server sends Its IP to my PythonAnywhere... Source: about 3 years ago
Hosting wise, I would reccomend pythonanywhere.com, combined with either https://imagekit.io or https://cloudinary.com. Source: over 3 years ago
So what is the best alternative? I have one Plotly Dash app on pythonanywhere.com where I spend 6 bucks a month so I don't want to spend anymore than 5 dollars per month on the PHP + MySQL. Source: over 3 years ago
