I love Python for it's simplicity... At least when it comes to coding, because when you start managing dependencies, it's getting tricky. What do you use: raw dependencies.txt or rather Poetry or Pipenv? Do you use system Python or maybe pyenv? - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
The Bakery Demo project uses pip from Python for package management, and the Wagtail dot org website uses Poetry. The differences in connecting both were very subtle, with the bakery demo being the easier of the two. The overarching requirement was that you would have cloned the most recent version of Django from its GitHub repository. Additionally, a public-domain/CC0 license can run up against some organizations policies. It is better to release under several licenses to reach as many users as possible. Personally prefer Apache... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
I have done native cross-platform projects in https://wxwidgets.org/ and https://quasar.dev/ . Fine for basic interfaces, but static linking on Win64 gets dicey with lgpl libraries etc. YMMV. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
