Puritext was born from a simple frustration: Pasting messy text from Word, emails, or websites into a CMS, email builder, or blog editor — and wasting time cleaning it manually.

We built Puritext to fix that.

It started as an internal tool to quickly clean and reformat content. Then we added smart formatting options and simple AI rewriting. Now, anyone can take messy input and turn it into clean, publish-ready text in seconds — with zero friction.

Puritext is built using a modern and efficient full-stack setup:

Frontend: – HTML + Tailwind CSS for clean, responsive UI – Vanilla JavaScript for fast, interactive UX (no heavy frameworks)

Backend: – Laravel (PHP) – handles cleaning logic, formatting, and API responses – OpenAI API – powers the AI rewriting and correction features
