Some users might find that ProofQuick lacks certain advanced features available in other proofing software or services.
  • Subscription Model
Access to certain features or service levels may require a subscription, which could be a disadvantage for those seeking one-time or occasional proofing services.
  • Specific Market Focus
ProofQuick might be primarily focused on particular industries, limiting its appeal or usability for a broader audience.
  • Frame-Accurate Comments with Visual Annotations
Timestamped comments on videos and audio make it easy for clients to be specific, which removes interpretation work for editors and designers and reduces the need for follow-up questions. Because feedback is contextual and visible alongside the asset, teams know exactly what to change and where. This leads to fewer misunderstandings, fewer revision loops, and more efficient collaboration between creative teams and stakeholders.
  • Side-by-Side Version Comparison
Zappic automatically tracks every version uploaded to a project, so teams always know which file is current. Version history remains accessible, making it easy to review past changes or confirm what was updated. Teams can compare versions side by side to validate edits before sharing or approving files, which reduces errors caused by working on outdated assets and improves overall delivery accuracy. The result is a clear version history, a reduced risk of editing the wrong file, and better control over final delivery.
  • One-Click Client Approvals
Approvals should be explicit, fast, and trackable. Zappic provides one-click approvals that allow stakeholders to sign off without lengthy email threads or additional confirmation steps. Files can be shared using a secure link, letting clients review and approve without needing to create an account. Once a file is approved, the version is locked and teams can clearly see its status, allowing them to move forward with confidence. This removes approval ambiguity, prevents delays caused by waiting on final confirmation, and keeps approval status visible and trackable directly within the workspace.
  • Built for creative agencies and post-production teams
Zappic is designed around how creative delivery actually happens, with multiple reviewers, multiple versions, and frequent iterations. It supports collaboration between internal teams, external clients, and stakeholders without forcing rigid workflows. The platform is optimized for reviewing video content while also supporting images, PDFs, and audio files in the same workspace, allowing teams to manage entire projects in one place rather than switching tools based on file type.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing ProofQuick and Zappic.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Zappic's answer:

Zappic emphasizes simplicity and pricing that is easier for agencies and post-production teams to scale, starting with a free plan and scaling to $14.99 per user per month for agencies. For creative and post-production teams that find tools like Frame.io overpowered or overpriced, Zappic is a leaner, workflow-focused alternative.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Zappic's answer:

Zappic.co is primarily built for creative and post-production teams, especially video editing agencies, creative agencies, and animation/VFX teams. Its ICP also includes social media agencies. The main users inside those organizations are editors, producers, project managers, account managers, creative leads, founders, and studio owners who need to reduce revision chaos, centralize feedback, and keep delivery timelines on track.

What makes your product unique?

Zappic's answer:

Zappic was built by founders with 8+ years of experience working closely with clients on the creative side. We understand that most companies do not need the complexity of tools designed for large enterprises. They need a review and approval platform that is simple, flexible, and able to scale based on their unique needs. By combining an out-of-the-box solution with room for custom development and additional features, Zappic delivers a practical experience for every customer.

What's the story behind your product?

Zappic's answer:

Zappic started in 2024, when both founders, separately in their own lives, were frustrated with how client approvals and feedbacks were managed. Bryan, being a founder of a creative agency, was tired of excessive revisions from clients and feedback scattered across different platforms like email, Slack, Drive, WhatsApp, etc.

Anirudh, on the other hand, being a marketing head, was tired of working with agencies as feedback was often misinterpreted or missed altogether. Bryan started developing his own solution to fix this problem, while Anirudh started looking for ways to solve it. And while there were options, both of them realized that the existing solutions in the market were either too complex or too simplistic, and didn't truly understand how clients and agencies actually work and think. Their worlds collided in early 2025 when Anirudh and Bryan found each other via a Reddit post and randomly started talking. About 5 months later, they realized they had a common purpose, and a combined experience that most companies in this space are lacking. Hence, Zappic was launched.
