ProjectLibre KanboardI have many Microsoft Project files but use a Mac. I switched to ProjectLibre and simply opened all my project files in ProjectLibre and kept working. The Gantt Chart, Network Diagram, WBS chart along with advanced features like Earned Value costing all work identical to MS Project.

For the Kanban experience, I was using Kanboard. It is perfect for Project management and it allows for relations between the cards as well. It is also solid in terms of stability.
